Did I mess up my chance with headhunter?

So a recruiter from Dartmouth Partners reached out on Linkedin asking for a call regarding some position. We set up a call a couple of days later, but when the time came I had to push the call an hour due to a family emergency, so I sent her a message asking for this. I got no response and no call either, and since then it has just been radio silence.

Thoughts? Did I really mess up, or is this common?

I don't think so. I did the same a few months ago, explaining I had an emergency, and the HH from DP agreed to reschedule.

Might be worth following up if she does not answer, maybe she just missed the email.
