PE recruitment in London is way less structured than in the US, you'll have absolutely no problem recruiting as an associate and your experience will actually be valued. Keep in mind that your compensation will be lower than what you'd make as an IBD associate though.
Thanks - appreciate the helpful response. It sounds like it is a case of reaching out to HHs in London after 1+ years of being an MBA Associate? Obviously to demonstrate why I would deserve the job etc. but more so just trying to understand the process.
