Don’t be so negative! Have you read the original post? The dude is basically having an awakening of how he only saved up $50K by the age of 30 whilst being a VP (he would have wished to start thinking of it as an intern I bet) - I’m just hedging myself against such mistake by propelling my motivation ;)
Suggest you switch to savings / seniority instead of age, more insightful

Current Savings: £150k
This makes me feel I’m late in life.
Assoc 2 (pre-bonus) at ~£190k.
