IBD: How much should you have saved by 30? LONDON THREAD

WSO has similarly titled (original) post. The entire thread is US-based, so I’m starting this one as I’m curious to see how much London bankers have saved up over years? £

Don’t be so negative! Have you read the original post? The dude is basically having an awakening of how he only saved up $50K by the age of 30 whilst being a VP (he would have wished to start thinking of it as an intern I bet) - I’m just hedging myself against such mistake by propelling my motivation ;)

 

Fair enough, thanks! Assuming very structured progression in IB: 2 yrs Analyst, 3 years Associate, etc. :)

 

Why UK figures are so bad compared to the US ones?
Incl. bonuses what the figures would look like if you don’t mind sharing?! ;) sorry for prying here
