Lateraling up?
Entering as analyst 1 in the summer. Starting at a low tier boutique IB and would like to explore lateraling up to a MM or BB in the next couple years (1-3 years out). Should I try for a high end MBA after a year or two? Is a MSc Finance an option? Was exploring LSE’s MSc Finance program but have heard that you would leave as an analyst, not an associate, meaning that it would primarily be used as a bonus year on your undergrad and a chance paste a name brand school over your undergrad. Do I just try for FT positions next year? What’s my best approach?
