Already kicked off

Very competitive

Depends what area of IB you were in to be honest and how you articulate your lack of RO

Networking may help but mainly applying and giving it your best shot

I was in the sector team, probably one of the strongest groups in London. Could you explain how the area of IB relates to the grad programme competitiveness?

I havent received RO despite solid feedback, so cant really opine on that - probably a mix of culture fit and minor mistakes.

Would you know how many spots are offered each year and what are typical candidate profiles?

I am frankly a bit lost. Off-cycles are uncertain, master does not come into play for financial reasons.

You haven't heard back regarding RO or you've been told explicitly no RO? It's not clear, sorry for asking. If the former, you can say you are waiting on headcount but if latter, you will need to be upfront.

There are spots, but it depends on the coverage you did. Was it TMT or something more technical like NatRes? Likely NatRes will have more spots because of technical difficulty versus TMT or C&R.

Don't have visibility on headcount but would assume 1-3 spots for SAs that didn't convert.

Off-cycles you can also apply but depends on how you phrase it.

You are a bit late to the party man. Apply asap to off cycle and summer internships. Grads is extremely competitive. Many people with return offers at tier 2 firms trying to move up. Very few seats. GS and MS didn’t even open, which says a lot
