MD IB vs Partner PE WLB

Interested to hear how people that have transferred to PE view the difference in wlb between seniors in IB and in PE. Is it significantly better? I’m assuming it is still demanding but allows for more flexibility with not always having to be on call to respond to clients (although I guess maybe for investors)? Is travel amounts between the two groups similar?

Would assume more variance in IB MD salaries over PE, other stuff needs more context
