PE Recruiting London
Hi,
Have seen other posts about general PE recruiting but thought I would start create one about PE recruiting for incoming interns and people who will be recruiting a few years down the line.
Firstly how exactly does the process work? I have heard about the likes of Dartmouth but not how they work. Do recruiters just search for candidates using the likes of Linkedin? Or do candidates approach recruiters and say they are interested in certain roles etc. How is the best way to go about this while keeping associate opportunities open and do seniors give references for recruiters?
How hard is it to find PE roles if you are not at a top-tier bank? And how can I as an intern start making the recruiting process easier. I have heard about how people keep notes on any deals they have completed and how this will be useful in future interviews.
Thanks!
I think you don't have to worry about PE recruiting as an incoming intern lol. From what I've heard headhunters will approach you after ~8 months if they like you for a certain position.
How do headhunters find and approach candidates is it just through linkedin?
