top international schools perception from the street

How are top international schools outside the US perceived on the street (excl. UK)?

e.g. ETH Zurich, Ecole Polytechnique, National University of Singapore, TsingHua, University of Melbourne etc.

not if there's presence but like the perception of students from the unis

Are they kind of comparable to lower tier Ivys?

Mostly unknown. And no, they would not be comparable to lower tier ivies. They’re really good schools but their reach is regional, not as global as the Ivies or top non-Ivies

No, but I have heard of some of them. Some friends have told me about IIT and shit from India which seem to be respected a lot and have seen people from there.

Insead, and hec Paris maybe? I’ve heard of those. What does it mean? Well ur not gonna much of any chance for a job in the US probably. I don’t even see how you would have an in

I would say the caliber of students at Tsinghua is no doubt better than the majority of lower tier Ivies kids.
