adding network contacts on LinkedIn

after you network with an analyst or associate at a bank and made a decent/good impression, should you add the network contact on LinkedIn?

Also, under the same above scenario, should I add higher ups contacts (VP, MD, etc) that I networked with on LinkedIn?
