Is it possible to recruit for London as an American with London work experience on your resume?

I am a sophomore doing a remote internship (asset management) at a London boutique. It was supposed to be in person, but it is online because pandemic. 

I was invited back for in person for summer 2021 (sophomore summer), so I was wondering if it would be possible to apply to London based IB roles for junior SA. I go to an American school that would be considered a semi target. 

If I was able to recruit for London, would I be able to for NYC too? I know some banks have limits regarding how many positions you may apply for, such as Barclays, but what about others? 

I also did a freshman boutique IB internship FWIW.
