Summer Analyst Recruiting Demotivation

Title sorta says it all

Currently at a semi-target with a decent number of relevant internships and spring weeks but keep getting rejected before first-round interviews. Some of them are straight off of CV+Cover Letter, some are after SJT's which I can't seem to pass at all no matter how much I practise on JTP. HireVue's aren't much better.

Getting pretty demotivated since I was pretty confident going into recruiting and now starting to wish I'd done more practice beforehand, especially since I interview pretty well. Not sure what next steps are - do I just settle for a suboptimal summer analyst stint this year and re-recruit for summer in my final year? Can I reapply to the ones that rejected me after tests? What's the best way to improve on these early stage assessments? Just looking for any advice and get a little bit off my chest.
