What is the best WLB-pay balanced job in London?
Thought exercise. What job do you think offers the best WLB/pay ratio in London/UK? Doesn't have to be the highest pay, doesn't have to be the lowest hours but something perfectly balanced.
You could even be as specific as a certain rank or company within a certain job (e.g. VP in ER at a US MM). WLB includes not just hours but overall stress.

I’ve met quite a few people in Private Credit in London who are loving it.
They work on average 50h/week, weekends are mostly protected, no IC in August means free holidays and work remains investing but you don’t have to get your hands dirty with portfolio work.
Pay is in line with PE if not better (e.g. know someone at Oaktree who made £230k in his first year) and only differential is carry (which is not a given in buyout anyway).
