Working from home and building networks

Hello all,

I am a first year analyst. I started my job working from home and I am concerned about building friendships and a good network when I have mostly been contacting colleagues through email and chat. A lot of the other juniors know each other from before and have developed good friendships and I feel a little lost in it all - definitely feel that I’m out of the loop and end up getting any news last. Worried this will affect me when I’m back in the office and feel more excluded? especially as I am spending most of my day with these people. Also could affect future opportunities. Any advice appreciated
