TAS or Management Consulting?

I have a good chance to transfer to TAS within advisory at my firm which is basically FDD since I have good relations with the TAS partner. From there, I'm considering developing internally, exit to IB or corp dev. 

I'm in B4 risk advisory right now and always had wanted to do consulting work so I'm tempted to really throw myself at this potential opportunity by taking a prep course with a good success rate. 

For those in TAS or Management consulting, can you weigh in your choice and how you've liked your work so far?

I'm motivated to put in the work and would love any guidance.
