Networking as new grad professional

Hello all,

Recently started career as new grad in development. Before as a student when I wanted to network I would usually pull the student card and send a cold email asking about how they got in the industry.

Now as a new grad analyst, I am not sure how to connect with those who I think would be good to know/want to learn more about.

I know ULI and NAIOP already, but the specific persons I’d like to connect with don’t attend these events usually.

Also, would it be appropriate to use my work email or personal. Would be curious how you guys go about networking as professionals when there’s people you want to connect with who are not in ULI/NAIOP. Not sure if I should/how I should cold email in this type of situation or what else there is to do.

Sorry if this Is a dumb question. thanks.
