MIT MS Finance, Should I apply with a lower than average GPA?

I'm an international student. I did an evaluation using SpanTran and they gave me a 3.355 GPA (it's higher than my actual GPA, after excluding English and other irrelevant courses). GMAT is 760 [Q50V44]. My GPA is terrible, obviously. I have one internship and currently sitting for interviews.

Should I try my luck with applying?

Stalking random LinkedIn profiles I've spotted someone from my home country in the program, I tried reaching out but haven't heard back yet. He has a GRE score that's like 660 equivalent on a GMAT scale, but a decent GPA + 3 years of experience. Could my GMAT score offset my GPA?

Thanks in advance.

Don't think you have a chance tbh. GPA is very low. Where are you from though? Tried European programs?
