MM IB and 2+2 Admissions

Hi! Currently a senior considering applying to 2+2 programs. I was a summer analyst at a solid MM, and I will be returning to my firm for full-time.

With decent stats (750 GMAT, 3.85 GPA, and a T15 undergraduate school), do I have a shot at H/W/S/Booth/Sloan?

As a non-URM, my gut instinct is that my chances are pretty slim (especially with MM pedigree), so I would appreciate some insight. Thanks in advance!

No you don't, kids that go to H/W/Y/P who have 3.8+ and are at a BB are not guaranteed admission to 2+2 programs. They are extremely competitive and unless you have done something special, a MM firm from not even a top ivy is not gonna cut it.

Mate honestly just shoot your shot, you’ll never know unless you try. You don’t really have anything to lose except time spent on essays and the application fee so I’d suggest you just give it a shot. H/S might be a stretch but I reckon Wharton/Booth/Sloan are within reach.

Best of luck !!
