$14000 just went out of my window.. :(
So, I made the decision to go with EY as opportunities to work with different clients would expand my network and give me better experience.
With that decision, I basically loss a combination of $14,000 in salary and bonus.
Hopefully this would all be worth.
p.s Thank you to those who helped out and gave advices.
wow thats quite a bit of monies. all the best hope it works out!
you'll be fine. god knows where DB is gonna be in august. at least your job at EY will still be around (knock on wood)
i agree. you'll definitely get a better overall experience at EY i think and its definitely true about the networking thing. GOOD LUCK!
Good luck with everything - let us know how it turns out.
Good luck man!
you made the right decision.
The fact of working in NY and having a more interactive job, where you have more client exposure (if I remember right), will add a lot more value than the other two jobs... so you lost those 14k in the short term but always think about the long term...
I dont even live in the US, but it just impresses me more to hear that someone is working in NY, but thats probably because that is were I want to be in the future...
I think you made a good choice too.
