FT Recruiting

I am feeling very hopeless right now in my current situation as a senior at a target (Dartmouth, Cornell, NYU Stern) where all my peers seem to have either gotten their returns or succeeded in full time recruitment. Just went through the initial FT recruiting cycle after I did not receive a return offer to the PB of a major BB (JPM/GS/MS/Bofa) that I interned at due to headcount restrictions. Did not have much luck with banks for FT recruitment. Did some final round consulting interviews with Deloitte and a couple of corporate strategy interviews but did not clear any of them. I only have two upcoming final rounds with no other interviews in the pipeline. One is with a boutique consulting firm (20 employees) in an extremely niche area and the other is with a much smaller bank (think Fifth Third Bank, Regions Financial Corporation, M&T Bank) than where I interned in wealth management.

Are there any consulting firms and banks (BB, MM, Boutique) that still have applications open. I would really appreciate any advice on how I should proceed in my current situation.

in the same boat man. senior at a target school in the south. I also interned at a BB (no offer). They cut half my intern class and everyone else in my class has secured a FT offer. I am almost at the point of giving up on IB recruiting and doing something less prestigious. feel like all spots have been filled and I seriously do not know what to do. I have sent 100's of emails and I am sick of people not responding. I worked way to hard to get to this point to not break into IB. I do not know what else to do man.

I am in the exact same position as you have gotten very little traction... Had some interviews but I didn't put in the work for FT recruiting early enough started after I heard about not getting the offer, early September. What are you gonna try and do going forward? Do we think hiring will increase after the election?
