Advice for my first job search

I am graduating in May from U of Miami with a 2-year MBA specialized in Finance. The only formal work experience I have is an internship at Oxford Properties Group in Toronto, where I developed a plan for creating a captive insurance company to service unique risk exposure that was too expensive to cover with commercial insurance. I built a small Tennis instructing tennis business from age 14-26, which took up my summers and is the reason I don't have a lot of formal work experience. I am Canadian but want to work in the US. I feel like I have missed the boat for full-time positions this May. I don't know what to do. I am even willing to work for free for a month to prove myself. I want to be in sales, I just don't know where to begin. Any advice is appreciated.
