Advice for non-target school liberal arts major.

Hello good morning and good night from wherever you are, I am seeking some advice.
I am an incoming history major at Pepperdine University, how do I find an investment banking or finace internship with a relatively easy major from a non-target school. Even though I am really passionate about history, I wonder if I need to switch majors to increase my chances, also how does my institution rank among among employers? From what I know it’s a relatively unknown school. Should I consider transferring or is good networking and hard work enough to salvage my current situation? Thank you so much for whomever is taking time to answer my question. Often times when asking adults in my life I often receive unrealistic optimistic responses, so I would appreciate realistic feedback. I apologize in advance for grammatical mistakes.

at least minor in business, and network like hell. Check out the articles below.

I would also recommend cold-emailing all of the smaller companies near you for internships, you need to reach out to as many places as possible. Just do a google search for companies, and then email them with the template below.

I would love to talk about opportunities at [insert the name of the firm] at a time that fits your schedule. Hope to hear soon.
