Advice: Should I see out my notice period when I know I am being made redundant at the end of it?
So I currently work at a London based trading company. In exactly 2 months time, the company will cease to exist and relocate under a new umbrella. My notice period is 2 months.
Given the time I have been at the company I am not entitled to redundancy pay and have started looking for jobs. Some of the companies I have applied to would need me to start immediately and hence not see out my contract at my current employer. Obviously I would forego my future salary payments but I would be fine with that.
Assuming I do get an offer of immediate employment, what should I do? I don't have any non-competes etc in my contract.
