I will keep this short.
Graduated shit tier school with 3.3 gpa, 3.8 finance GPA, why??? Becauze fuck an "Arts of the andes" essay when I can focus on my "Fin reporting and analysis" class.
I am currently a tax analyst(full time salary) studying for the CFA(in Chicago.) I want to move into risk management as I fell in love with international finance(AKA at my school how to hedge currency fluctuation.)
At my job I learned Access,, Oracle, and some other useless tax software.
What things do either exchanges, orpositions look for on a resume???
No bullshit, I know every failed finance major works in accounting but I am a bright guy, I even taught myself VBA and am learning Python AND SQL, WHILE studying for th CFA.
Any advice is great,
I DO NOT WANT TO BE PIGEON HOLD- ASSIDE FROM TH CFA
