Background check post FT offer

Hello all,

I was a SA in London this summer and got a FT offer for next year at a BB.

Yesterday I saw my SI application form on the website when I went there to update my details and noticed I said "no" to "did you take the GMAT?"

However, I had to take the GMAT (before I applied) but only the verbal and quant sections (no AWA and no IR). So I said "no" because I did not take the full GMAT and because it was convenient as my score was not that high.

I went through the background check for the SI and everything was fine but now that I have the FT offer I am worried they will re-check everything and might flag it. If they check my school transcript (they did not for the SI), they will see it.

Do you think it is a reason to rescind my offer?

Thanks

How did you take an official GMAT without the IR/AWA? Did you just skip those portions of the test completely?

But to answer your question, I can't imagine this being grounds for rescinding an offer.

"I know you think you understand what you thought I said but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."

Hi, thanks for your answer.

Actually, my school (European) requires us to take the quant and verbal sections to complete our first year and use it to rank students for exchange semesters. So we just had to skip the AWA and IR portions.

I'm afraid they will check my transcript and see that I actually took it and got a /800 score. But it is not a "full GMAT" then...
