Best cities for IB

Hey everyone,

I am currently an undergrad at a top west coast school and am curious about which cities tend to have the best culture for banking. I know I have a better chance at breaking in through SF because of my ability to travel there more easily. With that said, however, I have this strange predisposition that working in NY for banking provides a better culture outside of the office for things like night life. I know pretty much all of my time is going to be spent in the office no matter where I end up, I just want to consider all factors for this decision.

Also, how hard is it to transfer from a west coast SA position to NY for FT?

Thanks.
