I work right by the Halal cart and I try to stay the hell away from it as much as possible. That shit burns at both ends. Tastes phenomenal, though. I try and stick to healthier options. Digg Inn is my spot.

Determined:
Love the Burger Joint. at the Meridien. My friend took me there for lunch on a slow day at work and it was fantastic. Then I got free pizza at work. That was a good day.
Awesome spot. Great networking too (if you're trying to get a job at Macquarie). Very limited seating and cash only so best not to go with a big group.

Depends on where in midtown you work. I find places like Dig Inn, Little Beet, or Roast Kitchen to be pretty healthy. Chopt or Sweet Green is also pretty decent and healthy as well.

Go to 3rd. There further up you go the more options there are and they're usually on the streets instead of the avenues. Although when I worked at 51st, I ate a lot of taco bell.

Eatmarkers:

As close to their office as possible so yelp something quick.

>Incoming Ash Ketchum, Pokemon Master >Literally a problem, solve for both X and Y, please and thank you. >Hugh Myron: "Are there any guides on here for getting a top girlfriend? Think banker/lawyer/doctor. I really don't want to go mid-tier"

From a different perspective, I think the best option for lunch here is just trying "that place" you've never been, NYC is one of the few places that constantly gives you that option.

Between the options you mentioned though, Dos Toros runs laps around all of them IMO, but really they're all just variants of the same "standard". If you're visiting from out of town, I'd recommend staying away from the chains and trying something unique, take a walk down Korea town (32nd street) or check out one of the pop up food halls/markets.
