Best Place to gather economic data when valuing multifamily
I need some go to data sources for putting together an economic overview of a certain city where I'm drafting an offering memorandum for a multifamily building. I'd appreciate some suggestions.
Just copy stuff off the appraisal report, I am amazed how long and detailed those appraisal reports are
But if you really have to come up with your own, you can use REIS
citydata.com
CoStar (it's expensive though)
Costar has some of the best reports around. They are incredibly in depth. That said their website data is garbage so while the report may be well done I'm not sure how accurate it actually is. Clients are cool with it though.
Pull some census data (municipal or federal)
