Is it any better? The first season was cringe worthy.
it's very dramatized
The opener with Chuck talking about Al Green was super dramatized
First two seasons were great, so if you didn't like them you probably won't enjoy the later seasons.
I agree season 1 was horrible. It's a show based on one idea, that basically ran out after the first episode. It's like, I don't need four seasons of a drama show, give me one good one about the DA going after a fund.
I enjoyed the dirk diggler line
Great ep for Wags
Anyone else get a kick out of Chuck when he finally found someone low enough on the totem pole to take his park anywhere pass?
He was really struggling... the one dude goes "I have one... for each car" and I died laughing at the look on Chuck's face.
I fell off after S2. Got too soap operey and 50 shadesish.
I am a big fan of the show but there are times where they try to be so tough guy wall street that it just seems unrealistic. In the opening scene we meet Rebecca Cantu, who almost immediately uses the line "thinner than Kate Moss on a juice cleanse". Bach's line of "tighter than AC/DC in 78", Bonnie telling Axe (and her boss) " my thong is riding up my crack, I don't need you up there too Axe" and the insanely bizarre movie references seem to leave anyone other than a film junkie very confused by the references. It just seems like it has gotten borderline cartoonish rather than a "loosely" realistic show. Curious if I am the only one who feels this way.
It reminds me of The Newsroom if it were set in a pre-crisis trading floor. Everyone has a crisp quip for every situation. I admit that I'm cheesy enough to enjoy both shows but the constant Sorkan-style cross-talk takes me out of the moment.
