BIWS Modeling Course Question
I’m currently taking the BIWS modelling course as a recent undergrad. the main reasons I’m doing so is so I have an understanding of RE models and can do modeling tests for interview.
as I work through the course I find some of the models becoming very intricate and tedious to do and I honestly can see them being asked of me in an interview for an analyst position.
I understand the basic models and how to look projects out cash flows, is there any point to learning the more in depth ones or would my time be better spent reading RE news and forming an opinion on different asset classes.
