CFA for commercial credit analyst?
Sorry to flood the forum with posts, I just discovered this forum and have a lot to ask.
I have an MBA and work as a credit analyst, and will likely remain in commercial banking for my career. Is the CFA worth it? From my research, it seems like the CFA is generally taken by younger people who want to work as an analyst in investment banking or some other rigorous industry. I'm in my 30's now and don't necessarily want to devote the time to studying for a test that isn't especially relevant to what I am currently doing for work. But maybe the CFA would open doors, or make me a more attractive candidate in the future?
