Chances Of Becoming A Quant Out Of Undergrad

Hi, currently choosing between Brown/Cornell. Which one would you recommend, given that I want to become a quant out of undergrad?

My current plan of action is to get a CS/applied math double degree. I would say that I'm a fairly logical/mathy person, having done some math/science competitions and lots of science research in high school. (Nothing crazy like an international math competition though).

Is there any chance here of me breaking into a quant position? If not, what would be the best plan for me? 2 years of IB work, and then try to get into a quant position? Due to some financial difficulties, I want to work right away after college, if possible. But I would be willing to consider grad school if it would really open up opportunities.

Any help is appreciated!
