Contacting an MBA Admissions Office helpful?

I'm probably jumping the gun on getting an MBA, but as a college senior I'd like to setup myself years beforehand to get a head-start. I'm thinking of just calling up a top MBA school's admissions office and asking them questions about what they like, but I don't want to sound like an idiot trying to game their system.

Have any of you guys done this while still in undergrad?

If so, any idea on thoughtful questions to ask? I feel like asking about how my work experience as an i-bank analyst will be perceived but I'm guessing I will get the response that any experience is good as long as you show leadership blah blah blah... I'm thinking they won't provide any helpful advice about being a banking analyst looking forward to an MBA... and will probably give a bunch of "it depends" or "it's all very valuable" answers...

I think the most benefit would be gained by calling a little while before you start to apply so you can build some kind of rapport, add some personality to your application. If you call now anything they tell you will be outdated by the time you apply to school. Honestly anything they tell you can be found out through various MBA admission blogs.

Lets face it, Ibanking experience coupled with a strong GMAT score and decent UG credentials will pretty much ensure a couple top 10 admissions. If your goal is to get into only HYP then maybe you need to worry about the "perfect" resume, but FO IB experience is one of the most valuable pre MBA jobs you could have. In general I mean, not saying non IB people can't get into top programs or anything.
