You’ll be able to recruit fine for IB from Cornell Econ. Banks don’t only recruit from Dyson. Dyson as a major however will be considerably easier than Econ but is much more competitive to get accepted into. If you want, you can start out in Econ and then do an internal transfer to Dyson starting your sophomore year. It’s not unheard of to do the internal transfer
