Crazy Idea??

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to get everyone's opinions on some unconventional marketing for commercial real estate properties. My firm always puts together conventional OM books and does email marketing campaigns. I wonder what kind of traction one could get with going the extra mile -- especially with smaller buyers like family offices and private clients. A few examples I was thinking of would be like a mini model of a trophy asset or a massive map of the trade area if it is a special part of the world. Another thought I had would be a view-master with photos of a redevelopment to use when you're doing a property tour of a distressed property.

Maybe I'm crazy and doing something like this would discredit me. But in a world where everyone gets a million emails, I want to set myself apart!

Let's hear your thoughts and ideas!

These aren't crazy ideas and are being done now - models, drone flyovers, 3D fly throughs, superimposed redevelopment... granted we are spending $30M plus when we buy something but I see this type of stuff all the time. Still all comes back to the OM though, since that's where the rubber meets the road in terms of numbers working or not.
