Does Corp Dev at a F500 firm involve the same personal account trading restrictions as IB?

For those who have done both IB and Corp Dev at a F500 firm, how would you describe the trading restrictions imposed on your personal investment accounts? (e.g. on stocks, ETFs, etc.) Are the trading restrictions more strict compared to IB?

I understand there are less restrictions when it comes to retirement accounts, but am curious to know more about personally-managed investment accounts. Thanks!

I think it's company specific but I worked for one of the largest private companies in the U.S. We had customers publicly traded and could have easily made earnings plays based on our sales info with them. I was required to clear every trade no matter what instrument with a desk, the turn around was usually under a minute. Basically sent them the ticker, type of instrument, then they would e-mail either all clear to trade or no you cannot buy/sell.
