DTI while choosing your next job! #StudentLoans
So i have two offers in hand one is to have a role transition to the Product department, and the other is to take an offer from a larger finance company that offers higher compensation in a San Francisco. I have a huge student debt so** more $ = more security and less tension.**
Current company:
Seattle
Same Salary
Different role (The one that I wanted)
High Comfort level
Rent: Not too expensive
Student debt pressure: Same
Competing offer:
San Francisco
62% increase
Same Role (Higher Job title)
Rent (exorbitant)
Student debt pressure (hopefully much lower)
Since there is a big cluster of people here, on Blind, reddit, and reefr,me, I'm posting for advice from people in San Francisco Bay Area about what money it takes to sustain.

I posted on the Women in Tech forum on Blind and what most of them had to say was I'd probably be in a more financially constrained situation.
