Eastdil Interview - any insight?

Does anyone have any insight on Eastdil's interview process for equity sales analysts out of undergrad? Whether it be the general timeline, their emphasis on technical or behavioral questions, or the modeling test, i would really appreciate any info anyone might have

Current analyst interviews are underway now. Not sure how long the process will take this year, but last year things wrapped up in November/December. LA/NYC hires 1st year analysts just about exclusively from their internship (with a few exceptions). SF does not have a large internship program and therefore hires their class externally.

Interviews consist of technicals, critical thinking-type questions, an excel test, knowledge of Eastdil (structure of firm/what the analysts do/what the firm stands for), along with fit interviews with all current analysts in the office along with an MD or two.

Hope that helps. Best way to get in their interview que is through a referral. Network your ass off to have someone put your resume in front of the head of analytics in each office.

When I interviewed it was entirely fit based. I know some people get a basic DCF test and are asked to build an amort. table. Also head of analytics? The office I worked in did not have that, they have a few MDs that had most of the decision making power so being connected is easily the easiest way in.
