Expert networks
I’m curious to hear about anybody’s experience working at any of the expert network firms (AlphaSights, GLG, Guidepoint). Can you build a good career here? Can this lead to other opportunities in finance at a bank or PE firms? I work on the sales side selling research and connecting experts to private equity firms, hedge funds and investment banks. My goal is to eventually work at a big bank, so was wondering if this experience is relatable or if the skills are transferable?
