Interning for WSO is better than PWM. Everyone has PWM.

WSO is marketing though not finance am I right?

Doesn't matter really. I think the most important thing for freshman summer is to find something that will differentiate you and also something you can talk about during interviews. This does not necessarily have to be finance. PWM is finance but is not great for interviews or your resume. I'm sure you can find a decent sophomore internship without any finance experience, but you have to have something that you can be passionate about.
