Finance & Strategy Interview Advice
I'm recruiting for Finance & Strategy roles (~4 yrs experience) at tech companies (Square, Glassdoor, etc).
Does anybody have insight into the "case studies" from the interviews? I put that in quotes because I can't figure out if I'm supposed to answer with real case study format/expectations (e.g. MBB) or approach them more casually as one-off questions (e.g. critical thinking and business acumen, more conversational). I've done a few conversations with hiring managers and have gotten the following questions:
-If we launched xyz new product, how should we price it?
-Our profitability in the NYC market has decreased for the past 2 months, how would you identify the cause?
Also, does anybody know if Finance & Strategy roles have similar interview processes as Strategic Finance?
