Financial Model for Corner Store
Hi Folks, I was brought in on a project for a non-profit (no pay) project. This group works with small business owners in little served socioeconomic groups. I was asked to work with a group of small corner stores/bodegas and help them turn their businesses around.
I created the standard financial statements for them (IS, BS, CFS) but I was asked to create a model so that they could monitor their costs, and thereby help them make better decisions. The model has to be basic (as if explaining things to a 3rd grader), so there is no need for bells and whistles, just a way for them to track what is selling, and what isn't, so on. Does anyone have advice, or a model that I could share with these folks?
