First off congrats on making it to a target while experiencing adversity. Your focus now should be on trying to get that GPA up to at least a 3.6, as far as networking; hit up as many alums from your school through linkedin, and ask for a coffee/lunch, show them your interest, and have a well crafted story. If you can, buy the guides this site offers, I can tell you firsthand that they will help enormously.
