Front office in AM - Europe out of MSc: feasible?

i am an italian student who will be starting a MSF at Bocconi University (europe - italy) in september and i was wondering about my career prospects. front office in AM would be my preferred destination since i fear the job instability of HFs (at least without some work experience that i can use if fired/fund closing) [should i have the unreal opportunity of getting my feet into some interview] and the IB isn't exaclty attractive although i might suck it up and do the infamous 2 year route before transitiong into the buyside (i know i make it sound easier than it actually is). this as a general background. i expect to get some nice grades (meaning i will work whatever necessary to get them)

so, is front office in AM (=fundamental analysis) achievable or those roles are super competitive and i have to be a rising star with previous work experience to have a shot?

thank you very much for your time and patience

i love these "is it possible" questions...

sorry if i bother you with this "what if" questions but i want to bridge the gap between fantasy and reality in my current position. and most importantly, i want to prepare as much as possible in this direction in order to not lose one-time opportunities should they present themselves.

Lot's of people go into AM coming out of undergrad at some of the big firms (alliancebernstein, blackrock, etc). so yeah it's definitely possible. I know several people from the bocconi who have gone onto work in AM out of the MSF. Have you tried talking to some of your classmates? This question could've been easily answered by one of them.
