How Can I Break Into IB with a Master's?
Got accepted into a Master's in Management program from a T25 B-School. While such degrees get little respect on this forum, I would really like the chance to break into either ER, AM, or IB as an entry-level Analyst.
My background:
- Graduated from a target with an unimpressive GPA in a non-business major
- Less than one-year of professional experience
- Sophomore year internship in CorpFin, and nothing else worth noting for the purposes of this post
I know I'll have to network and build connections like a madman, but does anyone have any advice, suggestions, books, testimonies, etc. that could help me out?
My knowledge of finance and the financial industry is rather limited, so I appreciate all positive/negative feedback. Just trying to gauge whether this degree will be worth it, and what my opportunities will/can look like down the line.
Cheers
