How is UChicago for tech recruiting?

I saw this very recent thread and I'm starting to think that I should be more open to other career paths. I'm a first year and so far I've mostly thought about banking, PE and AM, but now I'm looking more into tech roles (SWE, data science, product management at FAANG type companies). The thing is that I go to UChicago, which is a top school that I know is great for finance, but I'm not sure how they stack up for tech recruiting. I've heard the Comp Sci major is still in the rapidly growing stage and I don't know if big tech companies recruit a lot of candidates. Are there any students, alumni, or knowledgable people who can comment on this? I know this is a finance forum but I've noticed there are still plenty of people who went through other career paths who might have insight on this.
