HYP Student in Need of Advice
Hello all! I'm in an odd situation. Graduated from Princeton this year with 3.72. Decided to take year off to study for LSAT, hopefully break 168+, and apply to T14. However, I'm not sure that I'll hit that target by then. I interned at a small ibank last summer with the hopes of breaking into a larger firm before I decided to apply to law school.
However, I feel as if going to a top 50 law school with money would waste the earning potential of the degree I worked so hard for. I have always had an interest in litigation, but I'm not sure if I would prefer banking in the future.
Should I drop law and pursue banking or stay the course? I feel that I have to quickly choose between these options as it will take great effort to pursue FT positions after the SA have filled their spots at XYZ bank.
Thanks
