IB to IR

considering moving from IB to an IR role but trying to figure out what comp and upward trajectory looks like. been in banking for 3 years and just over the workload and don’t really care for the work / pay is not worth the hours. recently made a lateral move to a new bank and worried that quitting and moving early might look bad. also not sure what an IR interview would look like / how to find the best opportunities. Seems like top PE recruiting firms have some IR roles as well? not a lot of recent posts on the topic so wanted get some up to date opinions
