Intern at CS FIG
currently, an intern at CS in their FIG, from a nontarget, want to exit to PE after my analyst stint but notice that CS FIG guys don't place that well. Should I try to lateral to a different firm or move groups. I really like the team and will most likely get a return offer

I don’t get why people think he’s doxing himself. CS FIG seems to have a bunch of non-targets based on a quick LinkedIn search.
OP, if PE is your end goal I would do what you can to switch groups so you maximize your chances.
But how many non-targets does CS have in that group from one of those three schools?
