International student with self sponsored 1 year J-1 Visa job opportunities.
I am graduating towards the middle of next year and am really keen to take advantage of a special visa that is available for NZ passport holders. I am allowed a 1 year J1 Visa and am really keen on breaking into the finance industry in the US.
I have one degree a BA in Business Information Systems/Management
I am now getting my GradDipSc in Finance. I should have my CFA level 1 before I arrive.
Also have strong sales experience work in Real Estate and media.
How would companies look at someone with a 1 year visa? Any recommendations on the types of companies I should be looking to speak with and how should I present myself?
