Internship Advice - Unpaid internship at a well-known hedge fund
Hi,
I am currently doing an unpaid internship with a well-known hedge fund (credit arbitrage) in Los Angeles.
I am a first year MBA student.
My goal is to get into buy-side, not necessarily a hedge fund.
Could you please give me advice how much I could leverage my internship experience at a hedge fund to get a full-time job in invesment management?
I am also looking for a summer internship.
If I could continue to work at the same hedge fund for summer, should I do so? Working for a longer period means getting more experience, right?
Or should I look for another internship opportunity (investment management, or sell-side research) for summer?
Which option is better?
Thank you very much.
